The Trust’s ambition is for the Old Sawmills to become home to a diverse range of artists working in all media - a centre of creative excellence. The top floor of the Old Sawmills - (a fantastic space with lots of natural light from all directions and wonderful views over the surrounding countryside of approximately 1000 sq ft and a volume in excess of 5000 cubic ft) - is divided into 3 separate studio/workshop areas of approx 24 m2 (320 sq ft) each. On the ground floor there is one larger studio/workshop (approx 350 sq ft) that is perhaps particularly suitable for (but not limited to) a ceramicist(s) with a painted screed floor, double doors to the rear and a 3 phase electrical supply. We want to be as flexible as possible as to how any and all of these fantastic spaces are used whether occupied by a single artist/designer maker or if more economical shared/divided into smaller areas to suit individual budgets and needs. All our resident artists have the full use of all our facilities 24/7, including fully equipped office/meeting room, machine room and the opportunity to show in thegallery@360°. See Our Facilities or FAQ’s or how to Contact Us. Come and take a look at what we have to offer! Studio availability @ 16/08/10. One only on the top floor.
