The Old Sawmills are in a fabulous rural location on the edge of Exmoor, in the village of Filleigh next to the Palladian splendour of Castle Hill House and it’s beautiful gardens.

Whilst enjoying this idyllic location we are far from isolated being just 2 minutes from the main North Devon link road, the A361, 5 minutes from the thriving market town of South Molton, 20 minutes from Barnstaple and Tiverton and junction 27 of the of the M5 only 30 min's away.

From Barnstaple/Tiverton/M5 via A361:

Leave the A361 at the roundabout west of South Molton taking the B3226 to South Molton. Turn right at the second turning on the right signposted Filleigh/Hill village/Stags Head. Pass through the old gate pillars and row of cottages at Stags Head, and take your next right at the stone bridge signposted East & West Buckley onto Filleigh New Mill Road.

the Old Sawmills are directly ahead of with a car park to your left from which there is a pedestrian exit just in front of the Mill.

From Torrington/Umberleigh and Crediton/Exeter via A377:

Leave the A377 at Umberleigh for South Molton on the B3227. Half a mile before entering South Molton, turn left signposted Hill Village. Follow this road past Norboard and down the hill, past the Stags Head Inn on your right to the T junction. Turn left and then first right at the stone bridge signposted East & West Buckland as above.
